DONNA WORKS

UX/UI designer and front-end developer. I design with development in mind and build with an eye for design.

Understand first. Then make

design

01UX Design

Good design does not start with the first screen, but with the people who will use it. Understanding what they need creates a structure where information is in the right place and every next step feels logical. That foundation is what makes a website work, not just look good.

02UI & Visual Design

Once the foundation is in place, the website takes shape. Visual design shows what matters, guides attention and carries the character of the brand across every screen. A website that looks good feels more professional, builds trust and invites people to keep exploring.

03Animation & Illustration

Not everything needs to be explained in words. Animation shows what is happening, guides the user and gives interactions more character. Illustration can say in one image what text needs a whole paragraph to explain.

04Front-end Development

Once the design is ready, it is time to make it work. Good design deserves good code. You may not see it, but you feel it. In the speed, the interactions and how effortless everything feels.

05AI in Practice

A good prompt is only the beginning. Using AI well means understanding what models can do, where their limitations lie and what data you share. When a project calls for it, I combine ready-made tools with open models and workflows. This can make ideas achievable sooner, while keeping the result aligned with the brand, context and original idea.

01

Fewer layers, more focus

You work directly with me. No account managers, no middlemen and no meetings where someone has to recap what was decided last week.

02

Design and development in the same chair

The person who figures out how the website should work is the one building it. This means design choices don't get lost in handoffs and technical feasibility is baked in from the start.

03

Same tricks, different logo

A lot of agency work is good. It's also starting to look the same. My process is repeatable, the output isn't.

Work that sticks

What working together looks like

  1. Getting to know each other

We discuss what you want to achieve, who the website is for and what it will take to get there. Afterwards, you receive a clear proposal.

  2. Setting the direction

I develop the first direction and explain the thinking behind it. You follow along and share feedback before we move forward.

  3. Making and refining

The chosen direction becomes a complete, working website. Along the way, we test and refine what is needed until everything feels right.

  4. Launch and beyond

After the final checks, the website goes live. I show you how to manage it, after which you can continue independently or keep me involved for maintenance and future updates.
