01Strategy & UX
Before anything gets designed, I want to understand your goal, your audience and how they navigate. Structure, user flows and wireframes come from there.

UX/UI design and front-end development from one person — from first idea to live site.
I build custom websites for businesses and independent clients who want something that looks considered and works well. Not templates, not quick fixes.
I handle UX/UI design and front-end development myself. That means the same person who designs your navigation also writes the code for it — and stays involved through delivery.
You communicate directly with me throughout the project. No account managers, no context lost between departments.
Before anything gets designed, I want to understand your goal, your audience and how they navigate. Structure, user flows and wireframes come from there.
Once the structure is solid, the visual layer follows. From individual screens to a consistent design system that holds together across every page.
Thoughtful motion makes a website feel alive without being distracting. Transitions, micro-interactions and scroll behaviour that reinforce the experience.
Design that translates cleanly into code. Semantic HTML, responsive layouts, performance-conscious implementation, CMS integration and handoff-ready delivery.
Feedback comes straight to me, so the reasoning behind each decision stays clear and carries through consistently into the final result.
Need design only? I design with a clear understanding of what is technically feasible. Need development only? I build with the visual decisions and user experience in mind. For a full project, both stay connected from start to finish.
Visitors get an accessible website that feels easy to use. You get a site that is clearly structured, easy to expand and, where needed, simple to manage yourself.

We discuss what you want to achieve, who the website is for and what it will take to get there. Afterwards, you receive a clear proposal.
I develop the first direction and explain the thinking behind it. You follow along and share feedback before we move forward.
The chosen direction becomes a complete, working website. Along the way, we test and refine what is needed until everything feels right.
After the final checks, the website goes live. I show you how to manage it, after which you can continue independently or keep me involved for maintenance and future updates.
Tell me what you're working on. Even if it's still vague, a short conversation usually brings clarity.
Get in touchWorking with Donna felt effortless. She understood the brief immediately and delivered something that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail in both the design and the code is rare.
Donna has this ability to make complex things feel simple. Our product went from confusing to intuitive and users actually noticed. She's become our go-to for anything digital.
From the first call to the final handoff, the process was smooth and transparent. The animations she built brought our brand to life in a way we didn't know was possible.
It depends on scope. A straightforward website with a few pages is different from a custom platform with complex interactions. I work on a project basis and send a detailed quote after an initial conversation.
A typical project runs between four and eight weeks. That includes design, feedback rounds, development and delivery. Timelines vary based on scope and how quickly feedback rounds move.
Both. I handle UX/UI design and front-end development from the same desk. If your project only needs one of the two, that works too.
Yes. I can integrate a CMS so you can update content yourself without touching code. We decide on the right approach based on how often you expect to make changes.
Yes. If you already have a logo, colour palette and typography, I'll design within those guidelines. If the brand identity needs work too, that can be part of the scope.
Sometimes. It depends on what the site was built with and what needs improving. Reach out with the details and I'll give you an honest answer about what's feasible.
Yes. Responsive design is the starting point, not an afterthought. Every layout is designed and tested across screen sizes.
A short brief is enough to start talking. Some idea of what the website needs to do, who it's for and any examples you like. The rest can develop through the first conversation.
